now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED THAT, This organization pledges itself to raise funds for 50% of the City of Amsterdam portion of any grant secured to conduct a historical structural analysis of the Amsterdam City Hall, not to exceed $3,000.00, without separate further authorization by the organization membership, and;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, That a check in the appropriate amount will be provided the Controller of the City of Amsterdam for deposit against such expense at such time as a suitable historic structural engineer is contracted, and;

BE IT ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, Should the Common Council of the City of Amsterdam determine that it will fund the City matching portion of a grant to conduct a historic structure analysis in its entirety, any funds raised for that purpose by this organization will be provided to the City for use in other preservation projects at City Hall.
